Who am I?
Hi, I’m Luuk. I’m 21 years old and currently studying Design at St. Joost School of Art & Design in Breda. I completed my MBO level 4 in Media Design at Da Vinci College in three years instead of four. Growing up in the Rotterdam area, I’ve been influenced by a mix of urban and music culture, from gabber to metal, which continues to shape my design style.
My design journey
I started my design journey in 2021 by creating cover art for friends who made music. This sparked my passion for visual storytelling and led me to refine my skills even further during my studies. Over time, my work evolved from cover art to brand identities, poster series, and more. I have always loved working with Photoshop, but over the past year, I have also developed a passion for illustrating in Illustrator.
Aesthetics with purpose
With a strong eye for detail and a love for bold, impactful design, I strive to bring creative visions to life. My work blends aesthetics with purpose, ensuring each project stands out and tells a compelling story. I am always exploring new techniques to push my creativity even further.

- I’ve always loved working with Photoshop. It’s my go-to for editing, compositing, and creating bold, eye-catching visuals with precision.
- Illustrator
- Over the past year, I’ve developed a passion for Illustrator, using it to create clean, scalable designs and expressive digital illustrations.
- Indesign
- With InDesign, I craft structured layouts for magazines, posters, and branding projects, ensuring visually appealing and well-organized print and digital designs.
- Signmaking
- I design eye-catching signage that enhances brand identity, combining typography, colors, and layouts to create impactful visuals for physical and digital spaces.

The Challenge

The Approach
